Parker Ranch was founded in 1847 and is Hawaii’s oldest business and second largest private landowner. Today, Parker Ranch is owned by a trust with four non-profit beneficiaries which are: our hometown’s community hospital, two private schools in Waimea, and Hawaii Community Foundation supporting other charitable causes. Under the terms of the partnership, Parker Ranch, Inc. will become an equity owner in the existing business of Waimea Butcher Shop and its strategic capital partner for future growth opportunities. In celebration of the 175th anniversary, Parker Ranch is announcing its intent to donate their historic Pukalani Stables to the Paniolo Preservation Society, a non- profit organization whose mission is to educate the public thereby increasing awareness and appreciation for the Paniolo history, present-day and future significance to Hawaiʻi’s ranching industry.
